The Group
Built on intention,
not opportunism.
Bhavana — from Sanskrit — means feeling, intention, and manifestation: the idea that what you deeply cultivate, you bring into being. It is the founding conviction of the Group, and the standard against which every acquisition, every hire, and every dollar of capital is judged.
Bhavana Group is an alternative assets venture studio structured as a private holding company — wholly owned by its founder, with no outside equity and no fund lifecycle. Capital is deployed through intelligent structure: senior debt, seller financing, performance earn-outs, and internally recycled cash flow. Operations are fully delegated to professional management; the founder’s role is deliberately confined to strategy, capital allocation, and performance review.
Our visual identity is drawn from the Thimmamma Marrimanu — the world’s largest banyan tree, a single root system that reads as an entire forest. It is the model in miniature: each portfolio company a distinct canopy, the Group the root system that nourishes all.
01
Permanent capital
No LP pressure, no forced exits, no fund clock. Businesses are held and compounded across cycles — sold only by choice, never by mandate.
02
Aligned structure
Seller financing and earn-outs align every transaction: sellers receive full consideration only when the business performs.
03
Internal financial engine
Tattva Markets — the Group’s captive insurance and multi-strategy investment arm — recycles float and returns into the deal pipeline, lowering our blended cost of capital.
04
Operating discipline
Every subsidiary stands on its own cash flows, reports against a standardized KPI framework, and is reviewed quarterly against its acquisition underwrite.
The Model
Buy. Back. Build.
A deliberately simple sequence, executed with unusual discipline. The model does not depend on a single moonshot — it is built on the aggregation of cash-flowing businesses, each modestly improving, year after year.
01
Buying
We acquire proven, cash-generating businesses — never speculation. Every deal must clear hard criteria on margin, debt-service coverage, and management transferability, and must service its own acquisition debt from day one. Limited downside. Uncapped upside.
02
Backing
Post-close, companies plug into the Group’s shared infrastructure — finance, legal, procurement, reporting — and gain access to internal capital through Tattva Markets. Professional CEOs and MDs own the P&L; the Group provides governance, capital, and strategic oversight.
03
Building legacies
Cash flows are recycled into add-on acquisitions and organic growth. Companies cross-sell, share resources, and compound one another. Held long enough, good businesses become great ones — and great ones become legacies.
Every acquisition adds cash flow. Every dollar of cash flow creates capacity for the next acquisition. Every company that grows makes the Group more valuable — and more resilient.
The model is self-reinforcing by design.
The Portfolio
Seven companies.
One root system.
Each portfolio company is selected for its capacity to generate durable cash flow, benefit from operational improvement, and compound in value over time. Together, they form a resilient enterprise no single downturn can reach.
Financial Services · Insurance · Multi-Strategy Fund
Tattva Markets
The financial engine of Bhavana Group.
A private financial firm operating along two parallel tracks: a captive insurance business whose float provides the Group a low-cost internal source of capital, and a multi-strategy fund generating independent returns across equities, credit, commodities, and alternatives — both re-deployed directly into the Group’s pipeline.
Focus — captive insurance structures · institutional-grade hedging and risk management for Group subsidiaries · internal capital recycling.
